(Photos by the author) – Doing some “winter cleaning” of the ol’ laptop and I managed to find some images from Speed Week this past year that I never ran. Since we’re in the dead of winter and everything around my office is white anyway, it made sense to run them today. I have a distinct feeling that Speed Week 2018 is going to be a rocking and rolling time just knowing that I have several friends who will be coming for their first time. If that is a small indication, Wendover is going to be packed to the gills with people. It’ll be fun for sure.
These photos come from what I believe was Sunday at the event. Not that the days really matter. As long as no weather comes through they all kind of look and feel the same. Blazing damn hot, blue skies, and a view that you can’t really experience anywhere else on this planet.

I loved the sounds that came from that twin engined bike. It was a nasty nasty sound.
