Pro Street Is NOT DEAD! Or it shouldn’t be anyway, because big tires are awesome! Just look at these bad boys that are going on the DD Speed Shop ’57 Chevy. I approve, and love the low buck leaf spring relocation. It’s OG and good and works like a champ. We approve.

Do you want bigger tires on your car? Cause I do!
We’re making progress on our low buck, left for dead 1957 Chevy hard top. The frame that came with car was rotten in the back, but came with a good replacement. Since the new frame was already stripped down I figured it was a good time to move the leaf springs for a wide tire. The body already had the wheel tubs cut out, so we had to move the rear suspension to match.
Moving the leaf springs from the out side of the frame to inside the frame allows about 3 more inches of room for a bigger tire. While it was all apart I installed a narrowed 10 bolt to really take advantage of the situation. With this modification I should be able to cram a 10 inch wide tire with a 14 or 15 inch wide slick! It’s going to look awesome!
