Newbern’s Fox Body Mustang is his first, and while the ProCharged 5.3 made okay power as is, he knows he needs more power and so with the direction of some pretty smart folks, he’s upgrading the camshaft, adding head studs and head gaskets, as well as upgraded lifters and some drivetrain mods. This thing is light and small and should haul ass once the new parts are in and the tuneup is dialed in. We’re pretty sure we’re going to see him at Sick Week in this thing and I can’t wait to see it leave with the wheels in the air for the first 100 feet. I know you want to see that too.

On this episode we install a new camshaft, head studs, head gaskets, lifters, and a Quick Performance 9″ rear end. The car is a 91 mustang coupe. It has a junkyard 5.3 liter that was completely stock with a ProCharger bolted to it. Our goal is to make big power and get ready for a Drag and Drive event.
