Delayed: ECTA’s April 2020 Event – COVID-19 Claims Another One

We managed to get at least one major event under our belt before everything went completely haywire this year when Chad got to go out to the ECTA Spaceport Invitational in February for the first of what we are hoping is an annual event. It was a small deal, with racers requesting to run and only about twenty of them being allowed to go, but it’s impact was huge, and that was before Dan Parker ran 152 miles per hour fully blind, which is monumental on it’s own accord.

We were looking forward to the ECTA event later this month. We had big plans, we had excitement. And now…we have stay-at-home urgings from every which direction, a virus that is doing damage, and “social distancing” being a thing now. We hate it, but it’s a better-safe-than-sorry situation. Here’s the official ECTA statement below. We will keep you updated once we know of a date that is in stone.

Don’t race and maybe live a few more years…hard choice. Work on your cars, read a good book, spend quality time with your families.
