The “No Guts, No Glory” grudge event at Orlando is one of the most wild and wooly races in drag racing every year. All of the biggest grudge racers come from around the country and lock into pretty serious money races that are like a non-stop automotive brawl for days on end. You literally never know what you are going to see and this is quite literally the wildest race win we have ever seen in the sport of drag racing, bar none, end of story.

The two vehicles in question are the Iceman turbocharged S-10 truck and the other is the nitrous injected Corvette driven by the Memphis Gangster himself Bobby Cole. These are serious rigs. We’re talking 3-second eighth mile potential for both of these things just going on the chassis and horsepower making combos. Anyway, elapsed time matters not in grudge racing, simply getting there first.

The two leave the line and things are looking pretty good for Cole until the thing drives into a power wheelie and he is forced to lift. Meanwhile, in the other lane the Iceman truck gets loose, makes a perfectly executed 360 in the lane without hitting the center line, without touching the wall and effectively finishing the rotation as the truck crosses the finish line first! Yes, he won the race and Lord knows how much money in the process!

We have watched this 10 times now and we cannot so how the whole scene could have been any more perfect executed. Cole has to be kicking himself and the driver of the Iceman truck has to be thanking whatever higher power he prays to.
