Finishing Up The Suspension On The 1964 Nova Gasser: Rear End FIASCO – Fire, Grinding, FRUSTRATION. Ford 9 Inch Install

Um, no matter how good the gasser front end works, if you don’t take care of the rear it will look funny and just be a poser. So the Chevy II had to get some more love. However, there were complications because nothing at DD Speed Shop can always go according to plan. Or does it in fact go exactly to plan? Watch and find out.

Video Description:

The front end of our beloved Chevy II is bolted on and looking good! Well, we need to match that attitude out back.

I decided to go all out and put all new suspension in the back half of the car. New mono leafs, bushings and shocks. The rear end is a Speedway branded 9 inch with a 3.89 gear and 31 spline axles.

Sounds like an easy install in a few hours right? WRONG! Cutting, grinding and just a bunch of overall frustration ensued.

At the end of the day everything worked out and the car was sitting perfect!
