Finnegan is back at it again, after having spent some time at Peter Harrell’s HED getting his Hemi back in prime shape. Now it’s up to him to get this bad boy in the car and setup so that he can take it back up to Pete’s for some chassis dyno time. He’s got his work cut out for him though as it isn’t just dropping the engine in the car, but rather setting it up for MSD Individual Coil ignition, as well as a Dry Sump Oiling System and a few other touches. Check it out to see if Mikey can make it happen.
Episode 271 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage is all about modifying my 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air, which is called Blasphemi. This Hemi-powered beast is fast and unreliable and I fully intend on making it even faster and hopefully a bit more reliable. lol
With that in mind I decided to upgrade my ignition system to MSD Smart Coils. You can get more information about those right here: https://www.holley.com/brands/msd/pro…
I also changed from a wet-sump oiling system to a dry sump system using parts from Moroso and you can get more info about that here: https://www.moroso.com/moroso-shop-br…
