The Hustle Is Real: The FTI Performance Team Is Gearing Up For NHRA Nitro Funny Car Action In Gainesville

If there is one thing that we know for sure, there are loads of race teams thrashing hard to get ready for the 2021 Amalie Oil Gatornationals as we speak. People are chomping at the bit to get back at it and burn some fuel in front of the fans. The race will be the kick off to the 2021 NHRA Camping World season and it’s going to be a barn burner of an event. Just judging on who we know is coming, what the ticket sales look like, and the fact we’ll be showing it all LIVE on the FOX broadcast network, there’s a lot of be excited about.

Paul Lee has made some big commitments to his program in 2021. They are going to run a very comprehensive schedule and he’s added not only races to his lineup but loads of equipment and stuff as well. Adding a complete backup car to his team, a new truck and trailer, as well as other resources that we’re sure the team will be talking about as well.

The FTI Performance car is going to be one to watch this year with Donnie Bender and Jim O in the primary roles on the team but with their old pal Rahn Tobler always available to answer questions and consult as he will do with varying degrees of frequency for some other teams. Having recently met with and talked to the crew at FTI, we’re excited for what they have going on in their product line and how that passion for drag racing and performance literally carries them to the highest levels one can imagine.

Here’s a report on the team!
