So as I sit here in the tower at Atlanta Dragway watching the rain fall on the drag strip that we should be racing the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals, I’m trolling YouTube and finding sweet videos to share with you. This video comes from Australia and it shows a drag racer pulling out every trick in the book to keep his classic Ford Falcon off of the wall at Sydney Dragway during a recent event. The driver is racing in some sort of handicapped style class because his competitor in the Camaro gets the jump and he gives chase.

As you will see the Falcon was out of shape from the hit of the throttle and the driver was having to steer the sucker pretty aggressively to keep it heading down the track. At the 330′, something upsets the car and the sideways, spinning, on two wheels save is ON. This guy through both a dose of luck and some great driving keeps his beautiful car from becoming a wadded up mess. This thing gets sideways, backwards, up on three wheels and finally up on TWO wheels before landing with a plop, in the same shape it started in.
