The Hellephant Finalls Roars: Check Out This Hellephant Swapped Demon On The Chassis Dyno – Massive Horsepower!

Mopar lied. They said that the $29,995 Hellephant engine that was revealed at SEMA in 2018 would make 1,000hp and nearly equivalent torque. It took forever to get these engines into the hands of the people that plunked down the money to order them but now they seem to be arriving and the guys at Demonology have taken their weak-suck stock Demon engine out (we’re kidding on the weak-suck part) and dumped a Hellephant into this thing’s lap.

The result? A truly awesome sounding and running Challenger that proves this engine to be far more nasty than the factory first wanted us to believe. hy are we saying that? This guy make 944hp to the wheels. Yeah, that means the engine is making close to 1,100hp at the crank by any measure and estimate. Wild, right?

We never really got into the reasons as to why this engine was delayed in its actual delivery after people bought them but it sure seems to have been worth the wait. It’s by far the most powerful crate engine ever offered by an OEM anywhere, ever in the history of mankind and it sure made a splash at SEMA. Reportedly they had no trouble selling the entire production run of engines, even at their hefty price.

Obviously the brilliance of dumping a engine like this into a Challenger is that it’s as simple as unplugging one and plugging in the new piece. There were some options you could have paid for when ordering your Hellephant like the near $3,000 plug and play package which would make any swap a breeze as it included the necessary pieces to make the engine run in whatever it was installed into.

This thing is wicked, evil, mean, and nasty!

Hellephant on the rollers! Watch and listen to this beast make 944hp at the wheels!

Hefty price tag? People pay that for motorcycle engines! As usual, Mopar under promising and over delivering. What’s not to like?

Absolutely ridiculous price tag. Have always heard that a fever could turn your mind to mush. This certainly proves this to be true as those with Mopar fever certainly have totally lost their minds to pay this ludicrous price tag. Should I even begin to say what kind of HP you could get from any reputable engine builder for this kind of money?
