You’d never even know what hit you. Seriously. Holloman Air Force Base’s test track has been one of the most interesting and wild places for American military development since its inception. From testing the effects of G-Force on the human body to developing warheads and ejection seats, this place has really seen it all. Now it is a center for the development of the hypersonic projectiles that will apparently define the next wave of military development. You’d never even knew what hit you judging by this footage.

Russia has been talking a lot about their hypersonic weapon development and how far along they are. We suspect that this video is a little hit to say that we’re also not exactly sitting on our hands. The insanity of this, even at multiple slower speeds is mind numbing. It’s there and gone like nothing you have ever seen before. This sucker is traveling almost nine times the speed of sound!

It’s a pretty simple video but one we think you’ll enjoy especially if you have ever watched race cars whiz past at a couple hundred miles per hour. This makes those suckers look like children’s toys!
