(Photos by Scott Liggett) – Kyle Loftis of 1320Video started the Ice Cream Cruise years and years ago as a way to have fun, see neat cars, and raise a few bucks. As we told you the other day, the thing has grown to more than 1,000 cars and uses the facility of Omaha’s mini league baseball team now to house the car show portion of the event. It is a monster and boy does it raise loads of money for local charities. If you live in Omaha and like cars at all, you want to be at this deal.

One of the other things Kyle did through the popularity of his YouTube channel and social media channels was to raise the profile of hot rodders in the center of the country. The scenes of drag racing, street racing, and monkeying around got loads more poeple to respect the efforts of car builders, engine builders, and the quality of the cars in that part of the world. This gallery may do the same thing when you see the diversity in equipment at this event.
