Masters of Motors Rules Amendments Announced! Application Deadline Extended – Check Out The Rules Revisions Here

The 2020 AMSOIL Masters of Motors competition is going to be awesome. The contest, presented by JE Pistons has been the buzz of the engine building world for some time now and there’s recently been some news dropped regarding the rules and the entry deadline.

For starters, the deadline for entry has been extended until May 15th. This has been done because JE recognizes that delays because of all this COVID-19 stuff have probably thrown some wrenches into the plans of people who were planning on being a part of the event. That additional time gives you prospective competitors a little more window to get your program organized.

Next up, there have been revisions made to the rules of the contest. Rather than blather on about them here, simply hit the link below to check out the changes in the Early Iron and Everyman’s LS classes. The revisions have been added in RED so they are easy to spot!

Here’s the full story regarding the rules revisions and deadlines for MoM 2020

Masters of Motors Rules Amendments Announced!

Hello AMSOIL Masters of Motors competitors,

First and foremost in this difficult and uncertain time, we want to make clear our intention is to continue the running of this event as planned. Masters of Motors is still scheduled to take place at JE’s Mentor Ohio facility September 28th through October 1st, 2020.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and all of us having business, family, and other unexpected concerns on our plates, we have made the call to EXTEND the application period from April 10th to May 15th to ensure engine builders have adequate time to apply and for judges to review all applications thoroughly. Selected entrants will be announced May 22nd. We appreciate your patience in this process.

wonder why they limited it to 1968 in the early iron class ??? oh i know why ,so ford guys cant use cleveland style heads on 302’s and 351c or boss 429 heads on the 385 series engines or even 429 scj heads. as usual what ever it takes to try and keep fords from winning.
