NHRA Insider Podcast: Two New Episodes Uploaded – Radial Racing and Profiles In Grit and Guts

NHRA Insider Podcast: Two New Episodes Uploaded – Radial Racing and Profiles In Grit and Guts

So one of the functions that came along with my new job at NHRA was the creation and execution of a drag racing podcast that covers the inside world of straight line motorsports competition. I’ve been given some pretty wide creative license with this deal and since its inception four episodes have been created. Lasting about 30 minutes a piece, each show contains interviews with two drivers who fall in line with a particular topic.

We’ve had guys on talking about how to win in top fuel, we’ve had people on talking about off-season power moves and the latest two episodes profile two drivers who have defined grit and guts in their career and then two NHRA racers who recently competed at Lights Out 10 in Georgia.

The goal here was to make something that’s interesting, easy to listen to, and wide ranging in terms of its topic and subject matter in drag racing. This is not a race recap type deal but rather a more thorough look around the world of NHRA drag racing and the people involved.

Below is a link to the iTunes episodes but if you are on Stitcher, Spotify, or the other main channels for distributing Podcasts the shows can be found there as well. Give it a listen to candid talk, interesting people, and some analysis from around the world of drag racing!

Here’s where to find all the episodes of the NHRA Insider podcast!

Thanks Brian, will check out the podcasts for sure. FYI, you are much appreciated, and very much needed breath of fresh air for the NHRA. I had pretty given up on watching the NHRA broadcasts (boring) but will check them out this year due almost entirely to your addition. I wish you had enough pull to get the NHRA to dump Pro “Stock” once and for all. Watching pro stock is about as exciting as watching paint dry. Wish we could see Pro Mod in the regular brsodcasrs instead. Better yet, get the RVW guys onboard for a few events. THAT would be worth watching!
