(Photos by Wes Allison) The 2021 NHRA Camping World Season is officially over, after a great weekend in sunny Southern California where champions were crowned, dreams came true for some and were dashed for others, and plans were made for the 2022 season. Luckily we had Wes Allison on site taking photos for all of you to enjoy from the race and we got a great mix of stuff that we’ve deployed as separate galleries for each class. First up is our Funny Car gallery, which you’ll find below, but stay tuned for the rest of them all this week. We’ve got Pro Stock, Pro Stock bike, Top Fuel, and a bunch of wheels up Sportsman action as well.

This first gallery of funny cars is a good one as you’ll see lots of Nitro header flames as well as the newest NHRA Camping World Funny Car Champion, our friend Ron Capps. We are super stoked for Ron on this second Funny Car Championship. We know several of the NHRA Funny Car drivers and they are a great group of people with a lot of passion for racing so it’s great to see them do well.
