Now THIS Is A Burnout! Watch Arne Kallevik’s Massive Head Gasket Killing Smoker From Santa Pod

How about burnouts? We all love them, right? The thing is, they are not all created equally. A guy in a stock pickup truck melting one rear tire down to the cords is not the same as a wild Aussie-style “skid” car. Just the same can apply to the sport of drag racing. There are guys who perform the burnout like a dutiful participant, the same way every time. Consistency and tire temperature are considerations as well as repeating the same process over and over to make the car do the same things every time. Then there’s guys like Arne Kallevik. This dude rolled up into the water box at Santa Pod’s Dragstaliga event unleashed one for the ages. Yes, this is video of Arne Kallevik’s massive head gasket killing smoker.

We think he literally would have carried this sucker to the finish line of the engine hadn’t liquified the copper seal between the deck of the block and the bottom of the cylinder head.

All heroes do not wear capes. Some of them drive front engine dragsters and could give a care less about tire temperature, consistency, or being a dutiful participant. This dude likes to party apparently and we’re down with that!

I was on the track that day, and the head gasket blew right where I was sitting. I officially crown Arne Christer Kallevik to the king of burn-outs 🙂 He allways puts on a show. I would not be supprised if we will see a side by side burn-out contest this season 😉 SVDA – dragracing as it used to be!
