It used to be a ton of work to build a gasser because getting the front suspension figured out and mounted so it was both drivable and had the right look was not the easiest task. Half of the time the cars looked right but handled horribly and the other half of the time they might handle okay but just didn’t have the right look. Now all of that has changed, because a few years ago Speedway Motors introduced several bolt-on gasser suspension kits. One of the coolest is this complete bolt-on kit that replaces all the factory front chassis components on an early model Chevy II Nova. These are so simple, that DD Speed Shop did a complete install in one night. Check it out.
Video Description:
Where we left off, our 1964 Chevy Nova was a stripped down hulk of a car.
Well my order from Speedway motors showed up and I jumped all over it! New front frame rails, springs, axle, shocks and steering box up front. Custom 9 inch out back and a few goodies sprinkled in between.
Today we tackle the front suspension and brakes. The Speedway kit is SUPER easy to assemble and seems like it will work perfectly.
Come hang out while me and Dani assemble this badass front end.
Also hit up the guys @speedwaymotors if you have any questions on the kit.
