Peter Harrell, Of Harrell Engine And Dyno, Shows What It Was Like Tuning Cleetus McFarland’s Mullet To A Whole New Level

While Cleetus McFarland has certainly enjoyed some success behind the wheel of his cars, and does a great job tuning most of them,  when the new engine went into the El Camino they call Mullett, he called in some reinforcements. After all, this car was now making power at a whole new level and Cleetus knew that if he could focus on driving someone else could help with the tuning and magic just might happen. And happen it did! Making a nearly half second improvement in ET and 20 miles per hour, this thing made its best passes ever in Gainesville while Pete was tuning.

But what was it like tuning Cleetus to multiple personal bests, including his 6.543 at 221.38? Watch and you’ll find out.
