It’s time for more upgrades for the Motion Raceworks Pumpkin Spice Mustang!
This is THE car that actually started Motion Raceworks. Doug, Andy, and Brian were single dudes and spent every Friday and Saturday night working on this car and then taking it to the track. The three have started an empire with the bond created around this car and Doug is thrilled to have gotten it back and into his garage.
It went on Sick Week this year. It was a mid-8 second car when Doug owned it before, and the goal was to dip into the 7s for Sick Week this year. Now they want to upgrade it even further and are aiming for 4 second 1/8 mile times.
It’s a clean car, but it does have some original things that will need to get some updates for safety and such. Some maintenance items of course, and then the current Motion Raceworks catalog of stuff will have to get thrown at it but with the original car’s personality in mind. I can’t wait to see it in person and am glad this thing is doing more racing soon!
