There’s always room for improvement and amazingly there is always room for innovation at Ridetech. The company has just released new bolt on chassis braces for classic GM A-bodies like the Chevelle, GTO, El Camino, Monte Carlo, 442, Skylark, and more. These braces tie the upper trailing arm cross member to the lower trailing arm frame bracket and drastically stiffen the back of your car up.
Why is this good? Well if you are a driver who like to burn the corners, you want the chassis as stiff as possible so the suspension can do the best possible job and maintain the right geometry while it is working. If you are a drag racer, you want the car to launch straight and true, planting both rear tires and not twisting to load one tire more than the other.
This is an innovative solution that installs easily and quickly, showing the end user great immediate results!
This chassis brace connects the upper trailing arm crossmember to the lower trailing arm frame bracket providing additional strength for high horsepower applications.
- Double adjustable design allows for fine fitment adjustments, (omits the need for slotted holes which can slip)
- Constructed from 1.125″ O.D. x .219″ wall tubing, strongest design on the market
- Brace ends are counter sunk and angle cut allowing use of shorter bolts which improves clearance, strength, aesthetics and ease of installation.
- Adjuster is machined from stainless steel and tubes are powder coated satin black for maximum durability
