BangShift is geared up and ready to go for another year of wall-to-wall Speed Week coverage on the Bonneville Salt Flats. This year the advanced reports have told us that the salt is as flat and hard as it has ever has been and that last year’s issues with chuck holes and a weak surface are not going to hamper efforts in 2018. There’s a better than average chance that some massive numbers are going to fall in 2018 because of the conditions of the course and the number of big name vehicles showing up. All the heavy streamliner iron is on the way, the Joint Venture will be there, and there will be freaks galore. This is going to be awesome.
