So Finland is gaining a drag strip and someone in Virginia is selling one. If you have always wanted to get in on the game and run your own track, here’s your shot. The track we’re talking about that’s being sold is Natural Bridge Drag Strip in Virginia. It is a small eighth mile place with a dirt track out front (which is not part of the sale) and as you can see, there are people who live literally right across the street from the place! I first visited this place a few years ago while on a road trip with my family. We visited nearly 20 tracks over the span of a few days and Natural Bridge was one of the more fascinating to me just because of its location and the winding roads in and out of it.

This is a humble little place but it is also the kind of place that could be touched up with some paint and TLC and be made into a hopping center of gearhead fun in the area. We don’t think that the asking price is out of line for a turn-key operation with an operating timing system, concessions, and all the stuff you’d need to throw the gates open on a Wednesday night and have some test and tune fun.

No, the place is not that long so you are not going to be running crazy stuff but you can have a lot of fun with the largest market of customer that exists in the sport and that’s the street strip crowd.

There’s a part of us that has always wanted to buy a place like this to see if we could make a go at it. Many, many tracks around the country are like Natural Bridge and they provide a good living for a family and a they support their employees as well.
