Watch Every Radial vs The World Eliminations Run From Lights Out 8 In This Rock ’em Sock ’em Video

(Video credit: CompetitionPlusTv YouTube channel) – We’ll be talking about Lights Out 9 all this week because the action at SGMP is set to begin tomorrow. To get you pumped up today, we’re showing you an awesome video by CompetitionPlusTV that gives you every single run in Radial vs The World eliminations in a chopped down, rock ’em, sock ’em quick turn format from last year’s race. By now you know it was “Nova Joe” Albrecht who took home the $50,000 prize in the supercharged late model GTO that fell to Dwayne Mills during No Mercy the previous fall but how did he get there? Who did he have to beat? How about Mark Woodruff who was on the other side of the track in that final? How did HE get there?

The one thing that people will see when they watch this video is that while there was some craziness, there was one minor crash during eliminations and the vast majority of these runs were made under power to the stripe. The side by side nature of what this world of drag racing has evolved into is really something else. We saw margins of victory in the tens of thousandths of second multiple times! When you see the run with Jamie Hancock and Stevie Fast go down, you’ll think that Jackson suffered major damage to the Shadow 2.0. In reality he didn’t and was able to come back and compete in the semi-finals where he lost to Mark Woodruff.

This was some of the most varied and entertaining drag racing I have ever seen. From four cylinder turbo engines to screw blown hemi mills, there’s something for everyone in the radial world!

Can anyone explain the meaning of the term “Lights Out” ? Is it just a name or is there some other aspect it. Also, is this 1/4 mile racing? Bangshift editors always think everyone is hip to information they take for granted.
