Watch The Murder Nova Wheelstand To A Win Round Win X275 During Lights Out 7 – On The Bumper At The Eighth!

(Video Credit: Free Life Films, PocoJang, 1320Video YouTube Channels) – As if things were not nutty enough at Lights Out 7 this week with the massive crowds, crazy quick runs, and wall banging crashes, Shawn Ellington, driving his famous Murder Nova managed to win a round of X275 competition on Sunday with his car ins a massive power wheelie as it passed through the lights at the eight mile! The car was about two seconds away from going all Dwayne Mills from last year and taking flight but he lifted at the exact right moment and all was good. The landing was not exactly gentle but the car was not hurt.

This was actually the second wheelstand that the car pulled on the run. It started to hike the nose and Ellington pedaled but with the turbos still spooled it went right back up into the air when he got back on the gas the second time. It was then the thing kept climbing and stayed skyward for the rest of the run! The best part? We have multiple video angles of it below and the best one is first. Why? It was taken from the roof of the car in the other lane! That’s right Poco Jang was set up to run X275 for this event and the Mustang had a GoPro on the roof. Because Ellinger was out on the Ford and stayed there for the run, you get an incredible view of the whole scene of the car up, down, and then UP UP UP through the lights!

The CrowMod laid down a 4.13 in the eighth on a test hit last night and he’s got this car covered by a couple of tenths but Ellinger definitely gets the showmanship award for the entire race!

That was about the wildest pass I’ve ever seen. Too bad local pal Greg got beat by it but his camera footage will live in infamy.

I’m not a Street Outlaws fan at all, but he proved that the Murder Nova is legit with that pass……no doubt.
