Yenko Lives: The Yenko SVE Is A 710hp Chevrolet Silverado That You Can Drive Off The Dealer Lot!

(By Tom Lohnes) – With Chevrolet hard at work developing the off-road ZR2 variant of the Silverado 1500 pickup truck, dealers are having fun with their trucks they still have during the current microchip shortage. Yenko Chevrolet, one of the most famous American car tuners of the 60’s is one of those dealers. Meet the 710-horsepower Yenko Silverado.

To get this package, you need any Silverado 1500 pickup truck with the optional 6.2-liter LT1-derived V8, which makes 420 horsepower stock. What they do to your truck is fit it with a 3.0-liter supercharger capable of boosting power to 710, and torque to 650. Outside, the SVE Silverado gains the typical Yenko/SC bodykit, which turns the average-looking 1500 into a real sport truck.

So, how much does all this cost? Well, the least expensive 6.2-liter Silverado you can get is the $44,740 for the Custom Trail Boss. The price for the kit and installation hasn’t been revealed but we can go ahead and assume the total cost of the SVE will likely be in the six figure range when all is said and done.

Sport trucks don’t have 4 doors. It should be Yenko ST. The stripes are incomplete. GM has learned NOTHING from it’s past abomination attempts here. Cash grab in it’s purest form.
