(Photos by Jose Ferrer) – Who wants to go to a car show and just see one type of thing, right? I mean when I was a kid we went to some Pontiac conventions and while it was a single brand, there was all different stuff to look at. Car shows like the Detroit Autorama keep people coming back because while there are some things you KNOW you are going to see, there’s plenty of rotating entertainment year over year to keep you on your toes. Stuff like the big rig truck in this gallery, the mid-engine machine in the lead photo, and some of the other freaky fun is unexpected and cool.

We’re thankful that Jose Ferrer was there with his picture taking machine and pointed at the all the BangShifty stuff that he saw. The rest of us schlubs that could not be at the show certainly appreciate this photographic tour around Cobo hall and its basement to see the good stuff that keeps us dreaming of spring!
