(Photos by Mike Brooks) – The Detroit Autorama is one of hot rodding’s great institutions. Between the fact that it has been going on halfway to forever, the Ridler Award, and all of the great cars that are displayed, it really is a great place to get a pulse on the world of hot rodding. Our own Mike Brooks and Jose Ferrer were on the property in Detroit and they sent us a LOAD of photos that we’ll be sharing with you this week. Rather than complicate matters, we want you to take a virtual stroll through the show with these images. See it as those guys saw it through their lens.

The Detroit Autorama is for hard core hot rodders because we all know how the weather is in Detroit during the beginning of March. Good ain’t usually a word that is bandied about this time of the year so if you are at the event, you know what you’re getting into and it means you’ll appreciate it even more.
