2018 Houston Autorama: More Texas Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, and Trucks – Check Out The Images

(Photos by Charles Wickam) – Yeah, that’s a crazy Gremlin race car. What’s it to ya?! The Houston Autorama is not just all about some sort of collection of big dollars show cars, there’s something for literally everyone’s tastes…even if they are this. When we talk about indoor car shows and their evolution we need to look back to the 1950s and the events that were held in local armory locations or really small gathering spots to understand where Autorama has taken that culture. I mean that whole thing has evolved to the point that guy spend huge sums of money on cars that very rarely if ever see the outside world!

From a recuperating Gene Winfield chopping a top with local hot rodders to all of the other activity and craziness that this event is so well known for, the great state of Texas once again played perfect host for the Autorama brand of fun. Charles Wickam had to have worn out a par of boots ripping around the floor like he did!
