(Photos by Joe Grippo) – Maybe one of the most jarring show losses last year in the midst of the madness that was 2020 was the Fords at Carlisle event. It has been a staple for so long, has been such a massive gathering, and then poof, it was gonzo. Obviously everyone else felt this way as well because more than 3,200 cars showed up for the 2021 version of the event and we’re pretty sure this is the widest range of Fords ever assembled. From Model Ts to race support rigs, modern race cars, electric cars, and all, this is about the past, present, and future of the brand.
Joe Grippo, who bleeds blue ovals when cut was there with his photo making machine and took loads of awesome photos for us to share with you. Of course we love so much of what we are seeing in these images but the Bill Stroppe race truck is just on a completely different level. Restored to what seems to be a better than factory fresh appearance, it was a show stopper…as were all the classic race cars with it!
