(Photos by Wes Allison) – We love when a new event launches with a bang. Such was the case with the first ever pro touring truck shootout a few weeks back in Arizona. The idea was to harness the explosive growth of trucks in the competitive pro touring world and showcase some of the coolest examples in the country. One of the things we love about these photos and the trucks in them is the kind of wild differences in budget jump out at us. Some of the trucks are lean and mean home created units and some of them are clearly no expense spared pro builds. Of course the driving element of this event can bridge the budget gap to a large degree as well.
