Do You Race A Modified? AFCO Has Your 1968-1972 Chevelle Frame Needs Covered

There are thousands and thousands of racers out there competing on America’s hundreds of dirt tracks in racecars known as Modifieds. They are among the most long lasting and storied of all dirt track equipment among the myriad of classes that compete these days. Dozens of groups compete in these cars with varying and nuanced rules across the country and there’s one constant…AFCO. The good news is that AFCO makes a 1968-72 Chevelle front frame clip that is accepted by all the various groups across the country. This piece is also optimized (within the rules) for racing. We’re talking about a shaved crossmember for better clearance. Tweaks for steering clearance, and locating tabs to keep everything aligned for installation.

If you do not need the whole stub, you can get individual parts and pieces to repair. Dirt track racing is fender banging, hardcore fun so that means these pieces are not an “if” you’ll need them but more a “when” you’ll need them! Donor frames are getting more and more hard to find as well as expensive. These parts are on the shelf and they are optimized for racing. What’s better than that?!
