Do you think that a group like the Brits that make up the Goodwood Road and Racing gang will choose the same V8 engines that we Americans would choose when putting together a Top 10 list? The only way to find out is to watch the video below. I am absolutely sure that we will have some in common, but what engines have they chosen that might surprise us all? It’s funny, because we all obviously have favorites based on what makes we like, and whether or not we like American engines, European engines, Japanese engines, etc. With that said, I think we call agree on some of the most iconic V8s, but when the list can online include 10, there are sure to be some controversies.
Watch the video below and then let us know which engines you think they missed, and which ones don’t deserve to be on the list regardless.
Video Description:
There’s a strong argument that the V8 is the best configuration out there. Strong, powerful and always provides that satisfying engine note that we petrolheads crave. It’s an engine that’s widely used across the world. America may be the master, but we in the UK and Japan have also produced some of the all-time great V8s. It’s not an easy task reducing the list down to just 10, but we’ve done our best. There are some properly great V8s that have missed out, such as the BMW MS65, McLaren M838T and even the Jaguar AJ-V8. So you know the top 10 will all be very strong candidates. So, without further ado, let’s get into it.
