So if I am going to be a purist, then maybe this thing is more like a Midget since it is 4 cylinder powered, but boy is it awesome. Or it will be. If you haven’t seen any videos from Timsane before, he built a 1/4 scale SUPERCHARGED Willy’s pickup that did big burnouts. Yeah, he is crazy but in all the right ways. This new project is a 1/5 scale tube chassis sprint car and he’s doing the chassis from scratch. There are some great videos below from the build to get you up to speed on what is happening, and with some tech on how to build your own small scale tube chassis. I love it.

And I use the term little loosely. It’s a couple feet long, built with what appears to be 5/16 and 3/8 inch tubing, and features laser cut chassis brackets and more. This isn’t a cheap RC kit or anything, this is a purpose built car that just happens to be too small to drive from inside the cockpit.
