Boosted Bling: Watch This Billet Aluminum Block Lamborghini V10 Makes 2,700hp on Steve Morris’s Dyno Insane!

Apparently we missed the memo that there was a company making billet aluminum V10 Lamborghini blocks?! That company, Dallas Performance has teamed up with Steve Morris Racing Engines to devlop ultra-high performance packages for guys who just think that 250mph in the half mile ain’t quite enough yet. This is nasty and Morris takes us on a grand tour of this screaming, boosted, V10 monster before making several 10,000 dyno pulls which create numbers verging into freaking NHRA pro mod territory.

The block is made like the factory on in the sense that it is basically a two piece unit with the majority of the block in a “normal” configuration and then there is a singular bed-plate style main cap to secure the bottom end. It is all some totally awesome looking stuff that isn’t just pleasing to the eye, it is pleasing to the horsepower lover in you as well.

Along with this project Morris talks about the fact that they are in development on a full carbon fiber rod/pin setup and will weigh something like half the mass of an aluminum rod. That’s a project that we are really interested in seeing come along because the possibilities there are nearly endless once it is perfected.

Just revel in the noise and power of this engine. Billet lambo!
