The 1962 Chevrolet Impala is one iconic classic ride, and this one here is going to be something truly special. Because they are so well known, anything custom that you do to them is often a point of contention, but man do we like this one! I’ve seen something similar once before, but getting to see the entire fabrication process on this one is awesome. They first built the wing, or spoiler, in clay to get the look just right and then fabricated it all out of steel. There is some great metal shaping and fabrication going on here and we dig it for sure.
We decided we had to share the clay process too, because it is super cool and allows you to see what it will really look like when done. Of course the downside is that the fabricator, Brandon, will have to make it match exactly. I think they nailed it.
