The Bugatti Boldie Is An Incredible 300+ MPH Hypercar With The Coolest Taillights Ever

(By Tom Lohnes) – Well, that’s cool. Bugatti released their X-winged taillight equipped hypercar, and its more than just a rebodied Chiron.

With no headlights, a massive roof scoop, and those ever-cool X-shaped taillights, the Bugatti Bolide is a force to be reckoned with. Unlike the 2.5 ton Chiron, the Bolide weighs in at just 2,350 pounds and doesn’t produce the normal amount of power. The Quad-Turbo W-16 is rated at (1,479) in the Chiron, but makes a whopping 1,825 in the Boldie. The top speed of this thing is supposed to be 310 miles per, which I kind of doubt considering this car makes over two tons of downforce and none of those pounds are active.

This car has no real competition, but there are some that kind of make it, like the windshield-less McLaren Elva and the screaming Lamborghini SCV12. Styling is not clean and simple like most Bugattis, rather sharp and ugly from the front. When you’re not looking at the front though, this car is absolutely stunning. With the aforementioned taillights hiding 355 millimeter rear tires, the rear of this car is a sight to behold.

With the alleged faking of the SSC Tuatara’s 331-mph top speed run, there is a lot of skepticism that this car can actually do 310. If it can though, it’ll be the fastest car in the world, and that’s a title for only the elites.
