eBay Find: Want To Buy A Former SEMA Show Car? This 2015 Wide Body Mustang Was A Hit Last Year

Ever wonder what happens to many of the hundreds and hundreds of show cars that are built and displayed at SEMA every year? Here’s a hot tip: Go to eBay and type: SEMA in the search bar and you’ll find a pile of them. As you can imagine the pile ranges from mildly modified stuff that showed up in a floor mat booth to some of the most ungodly looking junk that you have ever laid eyes on. Now, that’s not to say that it is all bad, because it isn’t. For example, this 2015 wide body Mustang is pretty cool in our estimation with the flared fenders and aggressive stance. This car was part of the Forgiato display just last year, has only 5,000 miles on it, and they are getting rid of it.

The kind of crazy thing about SEMA cars and trucks are that they are kind of akin to high fashion clothing. Not jeans and t-shirt stuff, but the expensive junk that people will mock you for wearing six months from now.

We think that this car is one that will not be too far “out of style” any time in the near or long term future. Powered by the awesome little 2.3L Ecoboost engine and wearing 295 tires out back and 255 tires up front, the interior was upgraded with some additional blue leather to match the wheels, the stance seems to be more aggressive than stock but the ad does not mention suspension upgrades.

Would we necessarily run out and buy this thing tomorrow? No, but there’s way more of a chance that we would score this Mustang over some of the bro-dozer trucks and other bizarre stuff that you’ll either see on the show floor or on the electronic scrap heap of eBay the following year. Agree?
