Edd China May Not Like Mike Brewer At The Moment But He Does Not Want You To Kill Him

Edd China May Not Like Mike Brewer At The Moment But He Does Not Want You To Kill Him

Well, it has been a few days since Edd China announced that he was to be leaving the hit televisions show Wheeler Dealers. The reaction was immediate and pretty uniform. After millions of views, people have come away from the original news with a couple of thoughts.

1.) The show is going to suck now.

2.) Edd was the whole reason I watched the thing anyway, now I’m done.

3.) Let’s threaten to kill Mike Brewer.

It is that last one that Edd addresses in his latest video which is shown below. He does so in his normally proper English way but basically the message is simple. Stop threatening to kill Mike Brewer. It ain’t worth it and it is kind of dumb to threaten to kill a guy who is on a television show and it basically a person you have never meet nor will you ever meet.

Other than asking people to keep Brewer free from harm, Edd also adds a couple of points that perked our ears up. The fact he is working on new projects does not surprise us but the fact that he comes right out with the fact that he and Brewer are pissed at each other is interesting. Remember, the original video was framed up like the network was the bad guy who wanted to change the format of the show. Maybe Edd thought that Mike should’ve pulled the move that the Top Gear guys did and just bail as a group? Maybe Mike had something to do with the format change? That’s all left to speculation but he is clear in saying that they are not on good terms at the moment.

Hey, if you are Brewer you have to know that the jig is up. The new guy may be great and knowledgeable and a speedy wrench but he’s not Edd. He’s not the guy that was working in that crummy little shed in England on cars we had never heard of at the dawn of our watching the series.

So there we have it. Ed’s gone, the boys are mad at each other and people want to kill Mike. Stop wanting to kill Mike. Edd said so.

Pretty sad when people make death threats to someone about a TV show! Its just a TV program people, get over it!

We’re living in a world where people threatened to kill themselves because Hillary lost. It’s the new normal when you don’t get your way.
      F+cking Snowflakes!

Edd remains such a class act and I’m glad he can disagree without being disagreeable. Evidently Velocity has lost its marbles but Edd shows that he doesn’t have to follow suite.

Looking forward to Edd’s new show and I only hope that we can get it here. A car show that isn’t a sustained advertisement and without manufactured drama would be a breath of fresh air.

Agreed. I just want to watch a guy like Edd work on cars, giving great tips along the way. Jeez it sounds so simple. Why does a network like Velocity constantly feel the need to appeal to the lowest common denominator in their audiences? So frustrating.

So sad. Brewer would be at the bottom of the list of reality tv starts that I would like to see taken off this earth.

They both seemed like decent guys. Too bad they are splitting up. I liked Edd better of course,I hope his new endeavors go well.

I really like the show, especially since they set up a California shop.

Wouldn’t it be informative to know how Mike and Edd calculate costs?

Parts costs are probably as stated.

Is Edd compensated for all his labor at some per-hour rate as costs? I don’t believe that’s ever been addressed.

Simply splitting any profit doesn’t seem fair.

‘Sorry to see Edd leave the show.
