When you hear a racing class name like Factory Stock, Street Stock, Hobby Stock, or even Stock Car, it certainly doesn’t sound like much of a race car. But if you are a fan of Harry Hogg then you know that “there’s nothing STOCK about a stock car…” and this is proof right here. The guys from On the Berm are putting together a Factory Stock car and while it does in fact start with a factory GM Intermediate chassis, aka a G Body, that’s where the stock part of this whole thing ends. It’s a pretty cool project though and fun to see how they tear a car down to the bare chassis and then build it back into a complete race car one piece at a time, from the bottom up.
