Can’t Hide Money: The Upcoming Mercedes Mercedes-Benz EQS Adds Hyperscreen To Its Resume -Interior Jumbotron Fun!

(By Tom Lohnes) – Mercedes-Benz, a company known for pioneering the whole car industry, has sort of taken a break from innovating in the past 5 or so years, but it appears they’re back at it, with the new EQS.

Basically an all-electric S-class with styling similar to the outlandish AVTAR concept, the EQS is nothing new in terms of powertrains or battery technology, but step inside and you’ll see the true innovation. For a few thousand dollars extra, Mercedes-Benz will equip your car with something called the “hyperscreen”. With 56 total inches of screen, this takes Cadillac’s title as biggest screen by a lot. The 56 inches is split between 3 screens. There are two 12.3-inch displays, one for the instrument cluster, and the other is a passenger display which is quite literally the normal infotainment system in any other current Mercedes-Benz vehicle, but in the EQS, only the passenger gets it. The biggest screen resides in the middle, and it is quite the thing to look at here. 31.4 inches of pure screen, this is the largest uncut infotainment system fitted to any car ever. It houses every single one of the car’s controls, and it is really a technological marvel.

Don’t want the hyperscreen in your EQS? Well, there’s an option to get a plebian 20 inches of display in the middle, but who wants that?
