Do you know how often we find killer racing videos that have been effectively destroyed with a bunch of junk ass music? It happens on a daily basis so when we find or get tipped off to some footage that is unadulterated, awesome, and pure, we latch on to it like a leech. That’s exactly what we did with this footage from the Sebring Classic 12 which was recently published on the Historic Sportscar Racing channel.
This is gearhead dreamscape stuff. We need to get to either this race of the historic Daytona 24 hour job that this crew puts on every year. Why? You see an amazing cross section of road racing history from the fairly recent open cockpit cars to the absolute classics of the Trans-Am era and stuff even dating before that. Screaming V8 engines, wailing Porsche flat sixes, turbocharged four bangers, and more, these guys really have it all.
In this video you will see the cars ripping around the track, you’ll ride with a couple of drivers lime Jochen Mass for example (dude is a legend), spend some time in the pits with engines burbling as crews work, and basically sit trackside and see fusillades of awesome cars come by at full song.
Wait until you see the dice that one guy gets into with a GT350 Mustang. So good…sooooo good!
