The second generation F-bodies, particularly the Herb Adams designed WS6 suspended Trans-Ams were great handling cars for their era. In terms of modern cars, they are not really even comparable this is doubly true if the car has original factory parts, many miles, and years of stuff like bushings degrading due to time and the elements. We have installed these systems on A-bodies and first generation F-bodies and it worked exactly as it was advertised to. It fit exactly as it was advertised as well. Because these are not “one-size-fits-all” systems and each is tuned properly for the application it is being used on, you do not have to worry about having too much or not enough of stuff like spring rate to shock stiffness. Oh, and regarding the shock end of things, you get the advantage of tuning to your preference with adjustable Ridetech shocks.
