The 2022 BMW XM Concept Has Polarizing Looks, All The Horsepower, and One Heck Of An Interesting Looking Interior

(By Tom Lohnes) – Well, BMW’s new XM concept is out, and it’s polarizing at best.

So, I know what you’re thinking. This midsize SUV with two huge nostrils in the front and taillights that look like a 5-year-old drew them with a crayon is a concept so it doesn’t really matter, right? Well, not exactly. Apparently, this monster is 85-95% production spec. Yikes.

Aside from the rather “interesting” looks however, this seems like a really cool SUV. First off, this is the first standalone M product since 1978’s M1. This model actually sports twin BMW logos on each corner of the rear glass, just like the last pure M car. Power comes from the company’s well known and widely used twin-turbo V8, and this time it is paired with an electric motor to make upwards of 750 horsepower. The XM sports a new interior design as well, with a redesigned steering wheel, new seats, and the newest IDrive system. The rear seat is a rather odd mixture of velvet and leather, and I suspect that will change before production hits.

So, what do you think of the concept XM? Personally, I think it’s a pretty outwardly ugly thing with a lot on the inside and powertrain fronts to make up for it.

I like this futuristic design and other features. I am an essay writer at studyessay and recently I had to write a big essay about the development of automobile production in the World and in America too. I have learned a lot about BMW and have great respect for the company, I also support their fresh ideas in design.

Modern auto design and development is easy. They have to make next years model just a little uglier than this years.
