Lets face it, as much as we all like Trophy Trucks, the chance of owning one is pretty slim. These beasts are stupid money. But the cool thing is that we just found this 2005 Prerunner Ford F150 on Craigslist that just might be cool enough to scratch your Trophy Truck itch. It’s got all the right fiberglass, and the look is just right. But this Ford is more than just good looking, it’s got the good stuff underneath as well.
According to the ad, it’s got a 5.4 that’s been helped a bit with a cold air kit and electric fans to free up some horsepower, but it’s the suspension that really shines. King 2.5 inch shocks and hydraulic bumpstops, an NCD long travel kit, National Springs, and a bed cage add up to 16 inches of travel all the way around. That sounds like fun to us.

I wonder if that’s the same guy I used to see around town. There was a killer prerunner F-150 I would see on my way to and from the scrapyards in Sac and American Canyon.
This ad is considerably further south, but maybe the owner moved.
Whatever it is, that’s a nice truck. If I bought it, I’d sell the useless crap like the DVD player to some sucker online and call it complete.
