Introducing the Velociraptor 700. No, this won’t be as fast as the F-150 Velociraptor variants, but this is hands down cooler. Packing the new “Godzilla” 7.3-liter V8, Hennessey adds a supercharger, making a total 700 horsepower at the wheels. Even better, this 4-ton truck can do 60 miles per hour in 4.9 seconds, which is definitely needed. This upgrade also adds a 4-inch lift and some better tires, which are welcome. The Velociraptor 700 upgrade doesn’t affect payload or towing stats, which is good considering the cost.
Ah, the cost. What is the price of all this madness? Well, it hasn’t been fully confirmed yet, but somewhere in the neighborhood of $250,000 is a reasonable guess. That is absurd money, but also this is an absurd truck. Will you ever need to get to 60 in under 5 seconds in a vehicle like this? No. Is it cool to be able to do that? Yes.
Good Lord, where does it end?
Where does it end? With electric trucks that will save us all and cost even more $$$ with nowhere to charge them. Oh, and your utility company can shut the power down whenever they want for “danger” and the government can, well …
