Lowered dually truck are a thing that I love, Chad loves and many, many others love as well. The older the better in my book and the more interesting the better as well. This 1985 Dodge crew cab ticks off all the boxes in my mind when I think of awesome dually trucks. One, it sits perfectly. Two, it has a Cummins diesel that’s been warmed up. Three, it has a six speed stick. Four, it has a factory style paint job that is offing awesome. Four, it has a factory style interior that is effing awesome. Five, it has chrome all over the damned place and is surgically clean.

Some people may not be on board with the wheel and tire package and while I can respect that, I do like the way they look on this particular truck. I am not sure a traditional small diameter wheel and taller sidewall tire would make the truck look better and the offset of these wheels brings them right to the edge of the body which looks pretty tough. The rig is on air so you are seeing it sitting pretty low but we’re sure with the bags inflated it’ll sit up high enough that you won’t be scalping any ant hills.

These trucks come in all shapes and sizes but I find that the rounder the trucks of today get the more I enjoy the old angular, square, and hard lines of the 1970s and 1980s stuff. This Dodge is an example of the pinnacle of lowered dually cool and I want to cruise it cross country listening to that 12-vale Cummins clattering away the whole time!

Sweet work! The builder did everything right!

Nice video work too, but loose the canned music and interview the guy. Would love to hear him talk about it as we drool over the workmanship.
