Mortske is always at it, and this cool K5 Blazer that he did a transformation on was one we dug. I have to say that he’s pretty good at these kind of things and this one is particularly cool since it was missing it’s axles and suspension when he got it. Why is this cool? Because he made it into a two-wheel drive truck while making it roll again and then swapped an engine and trans from a donor as well. Now it’s time for it to become even cooler. Watch.
Video Description:
I picked up this derelict 1974 Blazer that can be seen in the junkyard tour video for $100. The axles and some other parts had been long gone but I’ve always wanted a 2WD Blazer and the full removable top makes it even better! I located a 1977 Chevy C10 2WD donor pickup for the suspension and other trinkets and used my 1975 Chevy G30 van from the burnout video for the drivetrain. Follow along as we get this scrap heap back on the road!
We found this 1974 Chevy K5 Blazer missing it’s axles and suspension laying in the scrap pile at a junkyard. In a previous video we swapped the suspension to 2WD using a similar year C10 pickup as a donor and the drivetrain from a 1975 Chevrolet G30 van. Let’s see if we can’t make it look a little more appealing and road worth at the same time! I’m getting attached to this one and I’ve got a TON of labor into it thus far but I’d let it go in the as seen condition for $9,500. If you don’t like the price, move along! As always, thanks for watching!
