As we all know, variety is the spice of life and the same goes for racing and automotive competition. In this case we are talking about truck and tractor pulling and how sometimes the oddball junk puts on the best possible show for the fans. Who doesn’t smile when they see a hot rodded school bus pulling a power wheelie down the track with the sled hooked to its backside?! A lifted short wheelbase truck with a screaming big block in it? Fun! Riding in a flip top bodied pulling truck? Looks like a riot! The list goes on and on.
No, many of these vehicles are not the “right way” to succeed on the pulling course but like a wheelstander or jet car at the drags, they put on a good show. We can’t help but wonder every time one of the vehicles in this video starts a hook, “how far can they actually pull it?” We’ll never get tired of seeing pro stock diesel tractors or the big 7,200lb jobs work their butts off, but sometimes just seeing a mechanical feat of strength performed by some lumbering machine that’s designed for work is pretty fun.
Slap a smile on your face and check out this compilation of interesting and cool vehicles dragging the sled!
we’re working on hydraulic turbos driven by the exhaust and engine, the regular exhaust impeller runs the hydraulic intake impeller, it’s a two-stage system, using as much waste heat to inturn to make more power
I was an English major and am now a technical writer for writemypaperbro.com.
As much as I see people say that it varies by degree, location is also a big part of that. I know people who majored in something related to computer science, but then moved back to their small hometowns, and it turns out there isn’t much demand for programmers there. So now they drive 45 minutes to do tech support for cable or cell phone companies. They hate their jobs and are working alongside people who sometimes never even graduated high school.
Does anyone know the dead weight of that trailer that they pull?
