Tre5 Customs’ 1964 Suburban Build Is In Full Thrash Mode To Get Ready For Lone Start Throwdown At The End Of The Month!

The guys at Tre5 Customs have been building some pretty cool custom trucks, and lately some really cool early C10s which I love. But when they announced their 1964 Suburban build, I got truly excited as I’m as much a Suburban fan as a C10 one. This particular project got started in the summer of 2020, with the intention of showing it off at the Lone Start Throwdown here in Texas this month. That isn’t a lot of time to build a completely one-off custom truck, but these guys are up for the challenge. With just a few weeks left, they are in full thrash mode and we’re excited to see them get this thing finished and on display at Lone Star Throwdown.

We’ve got all three of the videos they have put out on the build so far, ready to watch below. This thing is powered by a Don Hardy LS, with a 6L80 behind it, a full custom GSI Chassis and more. It’s no slouch, that is for sure, and we’ve got every confidence this thing will be a riot to drive. I’m confident that big burnouts won’t be a problem, that’s for sure. When the final video comes out we’ll be sure to share it, and if we get shots of it at Lone Star Throwdown we’ll make sure we get all the goods.

Until then, here’s the build.
