Brent at Halfass Kustoms seems to be getting more and more cool project vehicles this year and thankfully he’s into seeing if he can make them run before doing anything else to them. I mean snagging something like this 1958 Chevrolet Apache to tear into and make into a hot rod pickup is cool, but so is making it run and drive before hand, even if it is just for the hell of it. I think this body-style Chevy truck is awesome, and being that it is the last generation that would then lead into the C10s, it is kind of cool too. In this video the truck, which has been sitting for who knows how long, gets hauled home for Brent to mess with.
In the last few attempts at getting things to run, Brent has had a few tough ones. So will this one give him fits?
Given that the rear axle is locked up, or the entire drivetrain possibly, it might be more of a chore than it first appears. on the surface this thing looks pretty okay, but there is definitely some interesting rust going on. Check it out.
